Oh hello!
It’s that time of the year! Holidays, holidays and more holidays! You and I know what that means right? food, food and more wonderful and tasty food! Now that thanksgiving just passed and Christmas is just around the corner I think it’s the perfect time to give us a treat and fix ourselves with this ONE-DAY DETOX.
The difference between this one and the other two I previously share with you (My two-day or three-day detoxes) is basically its diversity and low level of pain (LOL). We will have protein, juices and smoothies in just 24 hours, are you in?
Before we begin I want to thank all the people from Facebook that encourage me to do this, you guys rock!
INGREDIENTS
1 lime
2 inches of ginger root
6 carrots
1 pear
4 green apples
2 celery sticks
6 leafs of romaine lettuce
1 handful of parley
1 handful of basil
1 cucumber
1 whole egg
1 beet
1 banana
½ cup oats
4 kale leafs
½ handful of spinach
1 cup of pineapple
SCHEDULE
The moment you wake up: A glass of warm water with the juice of half of a lime.
8 AM: Carrot Juice (Put these ingredients in the juicer machine: 4 carrots, 1 green apple and half of the ginger).
10 AM: Green Juice (Put these ingredients in the juicer machine: 2 sticks of celery, 2 green apples, 6 leafs of romaine lettuce, 1 handful of parsley, 1 cucumber).
12 PM: 1 cooked egg (This one is free form, you can have it the way you like it best).
2 PM: Beet Juice (Put these ingredients in the juicer machine: the other half of the ginger, beet, 2 carrots, 2 apples, cucumber and basil).
5 PM: Smoothie (Put these ingredients in a blender: 1 banana, pear, 4 kale leaves, spinach, pineapple, oats and one cup of water. You can add ice if you want to!).
Remember, it is not recommended a hard workout the day (s) you’re making a juice detox.
