Hey everyone!
Happy – almost- Thanksgiving! What are your plans? My husband and I are super excited for tomorrow, our uncles Geacomo and Aracelly invited all of the family to spend the day at their awesome place to have a country themed holiday, can’t wait! I’m actually baking some mini cheesecakes as I’m writing these lines, you know, just a little something to bring tomorrow.
We will also bring one my husband’s favorite veggies, Brussel sprouts and that is exactly the recipe I want to share with you today, my take on Balsamic Roasted Brussel Sprouts.
Ingredients
2 lb. fresh Brussel sprouts.
1 tsp black pepper.
1 tsp pink salt.
1 tsp Herbs de Provence (by the way, let me talk about my favorite spice rack later on in this post!).
4 tsp olive oil.
4 tsp balsamic vinegar.
Preparation (30 minutes)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Put all the Brussel sprouts in a large baking sheet and pour all the olive oil on them, making sure they are perfectly coated.
Season with pepper, salt and herbs de Provence. These herbs are super important since they will provide that earthy flavor you’re looking for.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Get them out of the oven and put them in a serving plate and immediately pour the balsamic vinegar. Eat while still hot!
Before we go and if you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift, let me recommend a great brand. I’m sure you’ve heard of them before, I’m talking about Cole & Mason and specifically about one of my favorite products, their Spice Rack which is equipped with 20 different spices, including Herbs de Provence which we used today for this recipe. GIVEAWAY ALERT! They’re actually have a monthly giveaway, you can click here to know more and participate!
I want to end this post thanking life for the best Husband in the whole world and because I’m married to this awesome guy, I get to hang out with his –and now mine- amazing and caring family.
Thanks everyone! Be happy and have a big smile on your face today!
