Avocado Hummus recipe

So we’ve been watching a considerably big amount of Netflix these days; Shameless, Stranger Things, Bates Motel!! You already know I love to snack, avocado and hummus so…  why not mix them all together? Today I have for you my “Avocado Hummus” that just can’t be any creamier, you’ll love it and it’ll be perfect for your movie nights.

I usually tell you to go ahead and look for your favorite chips in the market but today I have a pretty good recommendation. This is a new brand I just discovered that turned out to be GREAT!  Today I'm using their selection of tortilla chips, but you will absolutely love their selection of popcorn too!. Their name is Buck Wild and if you go to their website you will find something I loved which is the fact that they support a couple of youth education programs for culinary enthusiasts, BRAVO. Thanks so much for the love and samples BW team!.

Being that said, let’s go wild!

INGREDIENTS (for 2 cups)

  • 1 ripe avocado.

  • 1 cup of cooked chickpeas.

  • ½ cup cilantro.

  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice.

  • 1 tsp. pepper flakes.

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil.

  • 1 tsp. pink salt.

  • 1 tsp. black pepper.

PREPARATION (3 minutes)

  1. Put all the ingredients in the food processor except the olive oil and pulse until you have all the ingredients well mixed.

  2. Once you have a paste like texture start adding the olive oil while you pulse. Keep pulsing until you get a creamy paste.

If you want this recipe a little bit spicier just add more pepper flakes when serving and enjoy with your favorite Buck Wild chips!
